Retail shop front rebrand

Nutrition Warehouse has been a dominant force in Australia for over 17 years, establishing a bold and instantly recognisable brand language. As the brand expanded into New Zealand, it brought with it a strict and clearly defined visual identity that needed to be executed with precision at every touchpoint.

At the heart of the brief was a challenge: stand out.
The North Shore store sits along one of Auckland’s busiest arterial routes leading off the Harbour Bridge—an environment saturated with competing retail signage and visual noise. With multiple retail tenancies along the strip, the site demanded a solution that would cut through the clutter and command attention from passing traffic, gym-goers, and the established online customer base alike.
Design assets were supplied directly from Nutrition Warehouse’s Australian head office. Our role was to adapt and re-engineer these elements to suit the architectural constraints of the building, while preserving brand integrity and maximising visual impact.
The result is unapologetically bold—an immersive application of signature red, amplified through oversized digitally printed and cut graphics spanning the full window frontage.

A key focus was achieving a premium finish with long-term durability in a high-exposure environment.
We installed AlucoSign Colour 4mm ACM flat panels with 0.3mm aluminium skins in high-gloss red, finished with FEVE fluoropolymer paint for exceptional UV resistance and colour stability. Panels were installed with a 3mm expansion gap in accordance with manufacturer specifications. To maintain a seamless visual appearance, spray paint was colour matched to the ACM, effectively concealing joints and delivering a continuous fascia effect.

The logo lettering was fabricated from 30mm white PVC, sanded and edge-sealed to prevent moisture ingress and future leaching. These were mechanically fixed to the ACM substrate, with a 4mm white acrylic Green Tick element applied to the face for depth and contrast.
Window graphics were produced using Arlon GTX4550, over-laminated with Arlon 3450 gloss laminate, ensuring durability while maintaining a high-impact finish.

To complete the transformation, an existing timber post sign was refurbished with new ACM cladding and a full repaint, elevating it to align with the refreshed store aesthetic.
